After tasting, Momo deduces that the cream-like substance beside the dish is unsweetened ice cream made from salmon. The judges realize that by combining the cold and warm salmon, the flavor becomes ever so vivid, utilizing thermal sense which Alice Nakiri also has previously used. Ryō Kurokiba takes his turn and presents his Salmon Coulibiac. Megumi Tadokoro, who was given a slice by Alice, and the judges are overwhelmed by the sheer flavor. Afterwards, one judge claims that both dishes are even but the other two beg to differ, claiming there was one decisive difference.
