Recent news announces a 3rd season for the Food Wars which will debut the Elite Ten Council and perhaps the Moon Banquent Festival arc.

And where has that been announced? All I've seen was promotion for the next OVA which will be bundled with the limited edition of volume 25 of the manga.

I think the OVA was a spoiler. From what I read, the 3rd season is rumored to premiere in July.

Without a reference it is just that: a rumour. Don't believe in every rumour there is.
